Customer Notes
Navigate to CRM > Customer Notes or access from within a customer profile.
Creating a Note
- Customer — Select the customer
- Title — Brief note title
- Content — Detailed text (supports Markdown)
- Type — Category (General, Purchase, Complaint, Compliment)
- Is Pinned — Pin important notes to the top
- Created By — Automatically set to current user
Using Notes
- Record preferences: "Prefers yellow gold, dislikes modern designs"
- Document special requests: "Wants engraving: Forever Yours"
- Track complaints and resolutions
- Record gift purchase patterns
- Note allergies (e.g., nickel allergy)
Customer Documents
Documents are attached via Spatie MediaLibrary:
