The Point of Sale (POS) system in Aurelia Hub is a full-featured sales terminal designed specifically for jewelry retail.
Accessing the POS
Click POS in the sidebar (under Sales). The POS opens as a dedicated full-page interface.
Interface Layout
Top Bar — Search and Filters
- Product Search — Search by name, SKU, or description (live debounce)
- Category Filter — Filter products by category
- Customer Selection — Search and select a customer or leave as Occasional Customer
Product Grid
Displays active products with quantity > 0. Shows product name, price, category, brand, and warehouse. Click a product to add it to the cart.
Cart (Right Panel)
Lists all items with per-item controls: quantity adjustment, per-item discount (percentage or fixed), and remove item. Cart subtotal displayed in real-time.
Order Controls
- Sale Type — Order (immediate) or Reservation (held with expiry date)
- Salesperson — Staff member processing the sale (defaults to logged-in user)
- Order Discount — Apply percentage or fixed discount to entire order
- Payment Method — Cash, Card, or other methods
Payment Section
- Gift Card Redemption — Enter code to apply
- Account Payments — Use customer credits/deposits
- Total calculation — Subtotal minus discounts minus gift cards minus account payments equals amount due
