Accessing the Inventory Dashboard
Navigate to Inventory Dashboard in the sidebar.
Widgets and Statistics
Inventory Overview Widget
High-level summary: total products across all warehouses, total stock value, items in stock vs. out of stock, and low stock items.
Stock Movement Stats Widget
Aggregated statistics: inbound movements (goods received), outbound movements (goods sold), transfers between warehouses, and manual adjustments.
Stock Movement Chart Widget
Visual chart showing stock movement trends over time: inbound vs. outbound volumes, transfer patterns, and seasonal changes.
Recent Movements Table Widget
Detailed table of recent stock movements: date/time, product name, movement type (in, out, transfer, adjustment), quantity changed, previous and new quantity, user, and reason.
Key Metrics
Stock Value
Sum of (quantity times cost) for all products, representing total inventory investment.
Movement Types

Low Stock Detection
Products are flagged as low stock when quantity drops to 10 or below. Out of stock is flagged at 0 or below.
Metals and Stones Tracking
The dashboard provides visibility into precious metals inventory (gold, silver, platinum) tracked by type, purity, and weight, as well as gemstone inventory and certification status.
Using the Inventory Dashboard
Essential for daily inventory checks, reorder decisions, shrinkage detection, financial planning, and data-driven supplier meetings. Check it at least once daily.
